We want to make sure that you have the best possible experience not only on NYE, but anytime that you are shooting off your favorite Red Apple® fireworks, so we thought we'd let you know the lay of the land throughout the great state of Michigan!
First of all, there is a really good article HERE explaining everything - in detail - regarding fireworks laws in Michigan. Make sure to check that out after you're done reading this blog!
But let's get to the good part: When is it legal to shoot fireworks on NYE? You can begin launching after 11am on December 31st and can shoot until 1am on January 1st. Make sure that you’re following all rules & regulations before you light that fuse!
And just so you know, here is a list of legal fireworks:
- LITERALLY EVERYTHING WE SELL!
While you're celebrating, don’t forget to follow common-sense safety rules including:
- Only adults 18+ should light fireworks
- Always have water nearby
- Never try to relight a firework that doesn’t ignite
- Never mix alcohol or drugs with fireworks!
From all of us at Red Apple®, we hope you have an amazing and safe new year! We'll catch you in 2022, #PyroSquad™!
