How To Fuse ARTILLERY SHELLS!

How To Fuse ARTILLERY SHELLS!

Hey Pyro-Squad, are you ready to learn how to fuse together a rack of Giant Panda® six-inch XXL™ canister shells? Well, Mike from Red Apple® Fireworks is here to teach you how to do it, and make it a fun and informative experience!

First things first, let's talk about what we're working with here. Red Apple® Fireworks was the first company in the entire world to bring you the six-inch XXL™ canister shell. Those shells were these Giant Pandas® right here. Pretty cool, huh? Each box comes with 12 shells and two fiberglass launching tubes, but tonight we're using an HDPE six-shot rack instead, so we'll save those tubes for later.

Now, these firework shells are no joke! They have 12 shells with beautiful effects, super-bright neon colors, and three levels of displays. Plus, three of the 12 shells have new ring effects, which are pretty cool and new to the market.

Let's unbox this bad boy and choose which shells we're going to fuse up tonight. Safety first, though! Make sure to read through the safety sheet included in every box of shells.

Alright, now that we've got our safety covered, it's time to pick our shells. Mike has chosen six shells for this demonstration, and he's not too worried about the order. He's going to drop them into the rack one at a time and fuse them together using Red Apple®'s Super-Fast™ Fuse.

Speaking of how to fuse fireworks together, let's talk about what you'll need. Obviously, you'll need your shells and your fuse, but you'll also need tape to keep everything together. Mike likes to use masking tape because it burns well, but you can also use U-Haul branded brown tape. Just make sure you stay away from zip ties, duct tape, and electrical tape.

When you're fusing your shells together, it's important to make sure the direction of the fuse is pointing towards the burn direction of the extra fuse. This ensures that the fire will ignite the fuse for the firework without any issues.

Well now that we know what we're working with, let's get to fusing! Mike uses one long piece of Super-Fast™ Fuse and attaches it to the leftmost shell, then tapes it in place. He repeats this process for each shell. Now, remember when you are fusing, to make sure that the direction of the extra fuse that is linked to the firework is in the burn direction of the firework’s fuse. If the fuse for the firework is facing away from where the fire is coming from, there's a chance that the fire won't ignite the fuse. Make sure it's pointing toward the burn direction.

Now, before you get all excited and light up that fuse, let's take a moment to talk about safety again! You see, when it comes to fireworks, it's important to take some extra precautions to make sure everyone stays safe and sound.

So, here's a fun little trick to keep in mind: grab a piece of Red Apple®'s Safety Fuse (yes, it's actually called that!) and attach it to the end of your Super-Fast™ Fuse that's connected to your fireworks. This will give you enough time to step back and enjoy the show without worrying about any unexpected explosions.

And there you have it! A fused rack of Giant Panda® six-inch XXL™ canister shells ready to light up the sky! Remember, always practice safety first and have fun!
